Topic: Issue with Responsive Navbar Toggle Not Working Properly

David Kimchi free asked 3 weeks ago

Hi MDB Team, I'm currently using the standard MDB navbar component in a project, and I'm running into an issue where the navbar toggle doesn't expand or collapse on smaller screen sizes. The hamburger icon appears, but clicking it doesn’t trigger any action.

I've double-checked that jQuery and Bootstrap JS are included correctly. Am I missing any required script initialization or configuration?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Got it, thanks! I’ll check the legacy docs and update my code.

You probably copied code snippets from the current documentation instead of the legacy documentation. There were changes in initiation methods, so you need to use legacy docs suited for your version of the MDB package: https://v5-standard-5.legacydocs.mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard
